How to file RTI ( Right to Information) in Indian System

RTI stands for Right to Information. This law was enacted in our country in 200, allowing you to request information from the government and any department. That is usually what people are aware of. This is why, in most cases, people write their questions on plain paper and send them to the appropriate department, but their answers are not received because the RTI is not filed properly. Today, we're going to show you how to properly write an RTI application so that you can take advantage of it.

  •  With RTI, you can get a sample of the material used in government work.

 Which section is of our use in RTI?

  •  Section 6(1) - is the section for writing RTI application.
  •  Section 6(3) - If your application has gone to the wrong department. It will be sent to the right department under section 6(3) within 5 days.
  •  Section 7(5) - According to this section, BPL card holders do not have to pay any RTI fee.
  •  Section 7 (6) - According to this section, if the RTI reply is not received within 30 days
  •  So the information will be given free of cost.
  •  Section 18 - If any officer does not respond, then his complaint should be given to the information officer.
  •  Section 8 - According to this, that information will not be given in RTI which is a threat to the integrity and security of the country or affects the internal investigation of the department.
  •  Section 19(1) - According to the section, you can make the first appeal to the first appellate authority.
  •  Section 19 (3) - If the answer to your first appeal is not received, then with the help of this section, you can make a second appeal within 90 days.
  •  Appeal to the Appellate Authority.

How to write RTI

 For this you take a plain paper and leave a space of 1 inch from the corner and write your RTI in the format given below

 Transfer within the time limit.  Also, under the provisions of the Act

 While providing information, the name and address of the First Appellate Officer must be mentioned.

 You pay Rs 20 for asking for information from the center and Rs 2 for asking for a copy of a paper.
